Some news from Deb Mostert…

Aluminium teapot with Bugs was awarded the $2000 Sponsors Choice Award at the 2009 Eutick Memorial Still Life Award (EMSLA) which opened at the Coffs Harbour Regional Art Gallery Friday 30th Oct and runs until 2nd January 2010.

Bug’s on Toy Cars is Deb Mostert’s1st solo show in Sydney and opens 1st December 2009 at Iain Dawson Gallery, Paddington.

Deb Mostert has been awarded a Janet Holmes a Court Artist Grant of $500. This will be used to help fund the production of a catalogue for a solo show entitled Untold Stories opening 26th Feb with Lorraine Pilgrim/Nyst Gallery, Southport.

Deb Mostert’s portrait of Adrian Franklin (ABC Collectors presenter and author) will appear in his new book entitled “Collecting the 20th Century” UNSW Press 2009. The book launch will be held in Dec at the Sydney Powerhouse Museum.
