Experimental painting:  Aboriginal Britain and Europe
Acrylic on black card

This series of mini paintings was done as a result of interest by a group of local Ipswich women wanting to learn about Aboriginal art and the meaning of its symbols.    To avoid problems concerning art protocols and practices, I decided to research ancient art from Britain, Ireland and Europe to encourage these women to work with designs from their own cultural roots.  I was amazed by the similarity of designs from these countries to those of Aboriginal tribes in Australia, especially Western Desert Tribes.
